Private Athens to Meteora Clifftop Monasteries
Your day will begin with pickup by your English-speaking driver from your hotel in Athens. After a quick introduction, you'll board your private car and begin your fully customizable tour through the geological phenomenon of Meteora. Our drivers are not licensed to accompany you to the sights, but they know the places visited very well and will share all the necessary historical information and their local perspective. Please note that men must wear long pants and women long skirts to enter the monasteries. Once you arrive in Kalambaka, you will be taken to the top of the towering cliffs to visit the monasteries that sit atop the rugged rocks of Meteora. The Varlaam Monastery, Holy Trinity, Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas Monastery and Megalo Meteoro were built in the 16th century and offer stunning views. At the end of your exploration, your driver will take you back to Athens safely.
